About me n’ this blog

I’ve been in full time Christian Youth Work in London, UK for about 4 years, and part time for 6 years before that in London & Blackpool. During the later end of that time I did vicar training at Oak Hill Theological College for 3 years. Its been an amazing journey & I’ve stacked up some great stories & memories along the way.

I love the outdoors, rock climbing, good food, unsigned music, comfy chairs, hammocks, & Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream.

I’m married to an awesome Californian lady called Katie – who is a writer & you can check out some of her work here:  www.nareia.blogspot.com

I’ve spent a big portion of the last 3 years reading and researching classical, modern, and emerging youth ministry ideas and methods. I want this to be a place to share/discuss some of the gold from those books, blogs, and conversations.

Hopefully there’s some helpful & digestible tidbits of encouragement & instruction in here for you to use if, like most youth workers, you ain’t got the time to sift through all those books people keep buying you!

Enjoy. Comment. Add to the conversations.

Thanks.
